John's Trip to London

I wanted to give everyone a report of my trip to London (and the Windsor area). I was attending a conference held at the Cumberland Lodge -- the Victorian hunting lodge of Windsor Castle. Here's a pictures of the outside of Cumberland Lodge.

Last year when attending this meeting, I was one of the keynote speakers, so I got the nicest room in the lodge. Here's some pictures of my bedroom last year.

The nice thing about the lodge is that the royal hunting grounds and deer park are
great to walk through. Unfortunately, while I was there, there was an outbreak of hoof-and-mouth disease close by, and so that quarantined the area and we were not allowed to leave the immediate lawn of the lodge.
