ICE STORM!!!

We're in the midst of a terrible ice storm here. We are the few without power. Almost all of the county is out except our street! Even 1/2 a block from here is out. Ours keeps blinking like it's at the end. The longest it's been off is 2 minutes. Yes, we have a gas fireplace, but JM has to set it a certain way to turn on without electric switch. JM is in Minneapolis.
We have over an inch of ice on everything and are expecting another 1/2 inch before 6pm. Then a little snow on top of that.

The University is even closed.

Notice the ground. Notice where the limbs have torn off (the light colored part). This is our back yard. Guess we won't have as much shade this summer.








I had a Christmas party to go to last night (very fancy). Fortunately, it was at the house on the left in this picture.

Trees across the street bent over ready to snap.

If you click this on, I think they get bigger. We've heard 90% of our county is out of power.
