This afternoon we meet with a wood floor contractor.

I'm a little nervous about the cost of all this remodelling. Money doesn't seem to bother JM as much as it does me, so we're at odds about some the materials being used! This week we found out that Sam definitely needs braces. They'll cost $4810! I told JM that was the cost of another bathroom!

Autumn's field trip was canceled yesterday. Our weather has been pretty yucky here lately, as I guess it has been in most places. Many of our flowers have been damaged. I'm not sure our rose bushes will do so well this year. They had a lot of new growth on them when the temperatures plumeted. Now they're looking pretty sorry. Also our Japanese maple had purple leaves (my favorite addition to our new yard) and now they're brown and drooping. Tomorrow we have a winter storm coming.

Autumn and I have been into Master Mind lately. John Mark had a little travel version. I'm not sure whatever happened to my game that I got when I was around 13. So we ordered one off of Amazon and got it yesterday. On one game she got in in 2 tries. --Mostly luck--but she really enjoyed that!
